I was wondering, if you increased the hydrogen pressure to a very high level, and then initiated a rapid temperature increase greatly above the ignition temperature, do you think a military-type reaction would result, assuming the enclosure could contain the reaction for some period of time?

Is nanopowder sized nickel required for the reaction or is it more economically and more readily available nickel powder that can be used?

- have you built a mathematical model of your reactor above 260°C? - which control method are you using for your reactor? (PI/PID/MPC) - what is the length of the control horizon of an industrial ecat? (seconds/mins/hours)

Most nuclear reactors can be divided into two categories, BWR and PWR reactors. My thinking then is that the original E-Cat technology would be best fit to refurbish a BWR reactor and the "fat cat" technology could be used to modernize a PWR reactor. Without exposing any commercial secrets, could you tell us if this is a realistic prospect?

1. Does the control unit maintain a COP of 6 for ANY value between 0 and 10 kilowatts of output power, especially in the low end of that range? 2. Theoretically, can a higher COP exist for very small values of output power WITHOUT creating new problems for stability? 3. Is the instability at higher temperatures due to a) the higher speeds of the reactants or b) the higher rate of transmutation?
Asked by Ecat.com cop transmutation temperature
Which of the following entities does the control unit alter in a CYCLICAL manner? A) pressure b) temperature c) fields d) charge flow
Asked by Ecat.com temperature pressure fields
I ask myself, "Would I allow a heating system to be installed in my house, warming my family, if I was uncertain as to the power generation mechanism and safety". Certification from independent and government organizations help to ease one's concern. But herein is a possible nuclear fusion mechanism and the words "nuclear" strike fear in most hearts. I have asked others and their comments were, to the effect "How big will the crater be when it goes unstable?".

Is it possible (maybe within 10-20 years) that we could see large, muli-staged, self-sustaining E-Cat power plants that could replace nuclear power plants?

Is it possible to know the daily (24h) power consumption in kwh of the E-Cat at 1/3 of its thermal power (3,3kw), 2/3 (6,7kw) and full power (10kw) without considering the 1 hour start-up consumption?

1. Must the E-Cat be cold before the fuel rod can be safely removed? 2. If so, is there a safety mechanism that is incorporated into the E-Cat that will prevent removal at any other time? 3. Will you continue to work at raising the temperature of the reactor from 260C even though you have achieved this important milestone? 4. What do you believe to be the next milestone for the E-Cat?

1) Is the returned Ni all, or mostly, available to be reused, after reprocessing, in fresh E-Cat charges? 2) Is there a limit as to how many reprocessing cycles a Ni charge can undergo before it becomes unsuitable for use in an E-cat? 3) If the Ni does become unsuitable at some point, presumably it would still be suitable for general industrial use?

Must the E-Cats in the MW plant be turned off when refuelling every 6 months?
Asked by Ecat.com e-cats mw plant refuelling
In the MW plant, is every E-Cat automatous? That is, is every E-Cat fully independent with its own control unit? If so, do the E-Cats communicate with each other in order to support each other when the need arises? Example: When an E-Cat is close to exiting the self-sustain mode and needs to be charged anew, does it put out a signal to the other E-Cats for help, and do they respond?

Considering that a home-based E-Cat may not be ideally suited to all domestic situations. Is it possible (maybe within 10-20 years) that we could see large, muli-staged, self-sustaining E-Cat power plants that could replace nuclear power plants? If built next to the existing nuclear reactor buildings, they could even maybe utilise the existing turbines/electicity distribution installations.
