How will one be "recharging" the nickel every 6 months? Will they have to buy it from the company? Will any finely powdered nickel do? And where will one get the hydrogen from?

Finally, the 1MW plants that you are producing. Are they designed to operate at 1MW capacity in self sustain mode or only in "assisted mode"?
Asked by Ecat.com 1 mw self sustaining
Do you have any serious interest from any European or Asian customers wanting to buy your plants or only from the US so far?

How will the refueling of the reactors be taken care of? If you have customers spread globally how are they going to renew the charge after 6 months? Will they be required to replace all the reactors with new charged reactors? If so this will be a quite a significant cost I assume especially if they need to be shipped overseas.

What if something malfunctions? Do you have people on standby to go fix / sort out any problems?
Asked by Ecat.com safety training
What sort of support or back up are you providing to customers of the plants? Do the new operators undergo some sort of stringent training or certification to operate the plant?

At the Ny Teknik web site Mats Lewan has published a short video shot during self sustained mode. Between the steam pipe and bottle there is a valve, and the position of the valve handle clearly indicates that the valve is closed. Can you explain this mystery please?

Is it possible (maybe within 10-20 years) that we could see large, muli-staged, self-sustaining E-Cat power plants that could replace nuclear power plants?

Could you tell the primary flow rate of the peristaltic pump?
Asked by Ecat.com water pump
I was wondering, if you increased the hydrogen pressure to a very high level, and then initiated a rapid temperature increase greatly above the ignition temperature, do you think a military-type reaction would result, assuming the enclosure could contain the reaction for some period of time?
Asked by Ecat.com temperature reaction hydrogen pressure
Are the first units already made with such material so they could withstand 400 degrees? Or will the retrofitting be a complicated process?

Did you try to measure a possible perturbation of gravity around the reactor of the e-cat?

Is the hardware and software for controlling the reaction it implemented on a critical standard (CEI60780, EN50128) respecting the protection of persons?

Will the commercial e-cat also contain Boron, as described in you patent? Would it be possible exclude the use of Boron in the e-cat concept?

Is it possible to know the daily (24h) power consumption in kwh of the E-Cat at 1/3 of its thermal power (3,3kw), 2/3 (6,7kw) and full power (10kw) without considering the 1 hour start-up consumption?
Asked by Ecat.com e-cat power consumption thermal power
1. Must the E-Cat be cold before the fuel rod can be safely removed? 2. If so, is there a safety mechanism that is incorporated into the E-Cat that will prevent removal at any other time? 3. Will you continue to work at raising the temperature of the reactor from 260C even though you have achieved this important milestone? 4. What do you believe to be the next milestone for the E-Cat?
Asked by Ecat.com e-cat fuel safety mechanism
1) Is the returned Ni all, or mostly, available to be reused, after reprocessing, in fresh E-Cat charges? 2) Is there a limit as to how many reprocessing cycles a Ni charge can undergo before it becomes unsuitable for use in an E-cat? 3) If the Ni does become unsuitable at some point, presumably it would still be suitable for general industrial use?

Must the E-Cats in the MW plant be turned off when refuelling every 6 months?
Asked by Ecat.com e-cats mw plant refuelling
In the MW plant, is every E-Cat automatous? That is, is every E-Cat fully independent with its own control unit? If so, do the E-Cats communicate with each other in order to support each other when the need arises? Example: When an E-Cat is close to exiting the self-sustain mode and needs to be charged anew, does it put out a signal to the other E-Cats for help, and do they respond?

What is the temperature of the output that the 1MW reactor is running at?
Asked by Ecat.com 1 mw temperature
Considering that a home-based E-Cat may not be ideally suited to all domestic situations. Is it possible (maybe within 10-20 years) that we could see large, muli-staged, self-sustaining E-Cat power plants that could replace nuclear power plants? If built next to the existing nuclear reactor buildings, they could even maybe utilise the existing turbines/electicity distribution installations.
