Andrea Rossi answer questions about the ECAT
What will happen with the lead shield when the reactor overheats by accident? If there are no cooling water flowing and no control system working. The reaction will stop because the temperature goes high and the nickel starts to change composition. There have been mentioned temperatures up to 1500 degC. The lead melting temperature is about 330 degC. Is the lead shield existing during the above described conditions? Are there any danger for the gamma rays?

Is nanopowder sized nickel required for the reaction or is it more economically and more readily available nickel powder that can be used?

Have you been able to mass produce your nickel+catalyst fuel in large quantities in a production manner? How long does your fuel production process take? Weeks? Months?

Instead of nickel as a "fuel" could you use a heavier element that would produce endothermic reactions?

There is a rumor going about that you are having trouble stabilizing the e-cats due to non-homogeneous evolution of energy within the Ni powder that melts the powder locally and shuts the process down?

It was told already that in the E-Cat only some nickel isotopes take part in process of transmutation into copper. My question is. If it was possible to enrich the nickel (at low cost) with these isotopes, will it be more of that fuel burned (transmuted into copper)and the work of reactor extended for some additional time?

Do you consider a good idea to invest now in Nickel?

Sorry about my doubt, had to ask before pre-ordering (Ni+H proton is pretty clean, if Fe was being created as well other things might show up) Please accept a pre-order for the 10 kw unit @ 4.000 € One thing that I have to ask, the unit must be re-fuelled every 6 (?) months? At what cost?

Have you ever considered using a Nickel Aerogel as your nickel source? My understanding is the the aerogel is basically like porous solidified micro-powder and could produce a much higher surface area/volume ratio.

The used nickel that comes out of the core that has been transmuted does it revert back when under normal temperature, pressure and environment revert back to its original isotopic values by endothermic reaction?
